If you’re staying in a cabin or lodge room, you’ll notice we’ve extended the rustic cabin-like feel into the event space with the decor but also, have left a lot of blank canvas room for you to bring your party vision to life. What has me frustrated and annoyed is the huge uptick in cost for what I've been told is laundry and garbage dump. 3 nights at $125 a night came out to $833.83. You do the math. I avoided airbnb because of the outrageous fees. Solitude Cabins is no different, be aware when you book.

Kathy SharpSeptember 30, 2023.Be careful when you book. Their website said $360 per night, minimum 2 nights. But two nights was $1,227 with all the added fees! 😳 BE ADVISED the handicap accessible unit is NOT accessible! It has a regular step in bathtub and the fold down shower seat has been removed. The hand-held shower head does not work. It only has grab bars. The bed is too high for a person with limited mobility.

Ricky RaynorMay 30, 2023.I reserved online 8 days ago and never received a confirmation. The charge was made to my card. I called them and talked with Steve and his wife, they were so awful. I asked for an email confirmation and they said they had sent, I asked them to send again, Steve said he did, but I never received. I gave him 2 additional emails and I never received anything thru those either. Not in junk mail. He said, not his problem I am not receiving. I told them, I needed some kind of confirmation. They became very ugly and said they were cancelling my reservation and are charging me a $75 cancellation fee. I said no, I do not want to cancel, especially if you are charging me a fee. They said they own the company and there is no one else. They hung up on me. Never dealt with such. I think they are scamming, not sure there are even cabins to rent or if they have right to rent.
